Growth Strategy Operations Lead

The Growth Strategy Operations Lead serves as the operational backbone of CIA’s Growth organization. Reporting directly to the Head of Growth, this role is responsible for keeping the organization aligned, on track, and executing against its strategic priorities. The Growth Strategy Operations Lead will function as a high-level project manager across the Growth org, ensuring that initiatives move forward with clarity, accountability, and pace.

A critical component of this role is partnering with the leaders of CIA’s new and emerging business lines to help stand up their operations. From building out processes and tracking milestones to coordinating cross-functional resources and removing roadblocks, the Growth Strategy Operations Lead will be instrumental in translating strategic vision into operational reality.

The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and new challenges emerge regularly. They are a natural communicator who can operate across all levels of the organization bringing structure without bureaucracy and moving with urgency without sacrificing quality.

Core Responsibilities:

Organizational Management & Execution
  • Own the operational rhythm of the Growth organization, including meeting cadences, agenda setting, action item tracking, and follow-through on key decisions.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reporting across all Growth initiatives to ensure visibility and accountability at every level.
  • Identify bottlenecks, dependencies, and risks across workstreams and proactively drive resolution to keep initiatives on track.
New Business Line Standup & Support
  • Partner directly with new business line leads to define operational frameworks, build launch plans, and establish the processes needed to scale effectively.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources—including finance, compliance, operations, and technology—to support the standup of new business units.
  • Track milestones and deliverables for new business lines, ensuring leaders have the support and accountability structures needed to hit targets.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
  • Support the Head of Growth in developing and maintaining the Growth organization’s strategic plan, including headcount planning, budgeting, and goal setting.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and briefing materials that communicate organizational progress, key metrics, and strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators across the Growth organization, surfacing insights and flagging areas requiring attention.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a liaison between the Head of Growth and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication of priorities, decisions, and expectations.
  • Build strong working relationships across the firm to facilitate collaboration and ensure the Growth team has the support it needs from other functions.

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, consulting, or a chief of staff capacity, preferably within financial services or a high-growth environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously without dropping the ball.
  • Strong project management acumen, including experience with project planning tools, status reporting frameworks, and milestone tracking.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare executive-level materials and present with confidence.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs, identifies risks early, and drives resolution independently.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and adapting quickly as priorities evolve in a fast-paced environment.
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, or similar).
  • Self-directed with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
